From Denver, travel west on I70 to the junction of US40 (6 miles west of Idaho Springs), then to Granby. Take US40 to junction CO-125 (2 miles west of Granby) then to Walden. Take CO-125 north to Walden. From Walden go southeast on CO-14 to Gould. Cross the river on the gravel road. Total estimated mileage: 153. From Fort Collins, go west on Hwy 14/US 287 to Ted´s Place (Poudre Canyon). Take 70 miles of good blacktop road to Gould. Turn left on County Road 21. Powderhorn Cabins are on the right, 200 yards off Hwy 14.
